Yesterday and the day before the Dutch Centrop Sales and Hall of Frames took place at Nijkerk in the center of the country. Those interested in instruments were also welcome at the Hall of Instruments by O’Max. Sunday was an extreme warm day in the Netherlands which of course influenced the number of visitors but Monday was very busy at all booths. Centrop Sales moved part of the fair to a new hall next to the Hall of Frames and the Hall of Frames itself had got a make-over which made the booths even more attractive. As always the Centrop organization presented the Centrop Awards for the best suppliers. Procornea once again was the best in the category contactlenses, Essilor received the Award for the best lens supplier and Viva was announced the best in the category frames and sunglasses. The last was a nice present for Menrad/Viva Netherlands which celebrated its 40th anniversary at the fair with a nice party attended by many people including quite some former reps! Two good days to start the new season!
