As one of the few optical fairs worldwide, MIDO opens its doors at Saturday, Sunday and Monday. This is interesting for independent opticians who prefer to stay in their stores during the week and on Saturday but can now visit the fair at Sunday and Monday. All international fairs anyway become more and more the showcase for designers and smaller manufacturers. The major suppliers seem to focus more and more on large clients with many stores which they invite to other locations. But all these small companies at the fairs are the trendsetters of the industry and therefore very important for each independent optician who likes to distinct himself from the competition. From this point of view the international fairs are still the most important places to get informed and inspired. The MIDO will once again prove it next week. See you all there!
