Eyewear manufacturers like to invest in their “own” collections besides the contractual efforts for their licensed brands. That’s why we see more and more campaigns for brands like Ray-Ban, Persol, Carrera or Vogue, just to mention a few. Interesting for the manufacturers who don’t need to pay royalties for these collections which makes them even more important for sales and profit. Oxydo of Safilo is another good example of an “own” brand and its campaigns become stronger and stronger and add more and more value to the brand. The just released campaign proves this with strong images which position and promote the brand as a premium one. It gives Oxydo more identity which certainly contributes to the sales. Nice!
