In the third quarter of this year Essilor realized an increase in sales of 6,4%. 4,8% of this increase is due to contributions of earlier purchased companies. Many countries in Europe have to face decreasing amounts of sales of prescription eyewear but growth in emerging markets is still continuing. Asia and Africa did well with more as 21% increase and Latin America performed very well with more as 30% increase. The instruments division showed 22% growth in this third quarter.
