Dutch marketing concept for independent opticians Oogmerk will be discontinued as per December 31st of this year. What started more as 25 years ago as a cooperation of independent opticians counts only 30 members anymore which is not enough to promote the concept and group as a brand. Part of the activities will be continued by The Collective of Independent Opticians which has been founded by Optitrade in 2009 but wasn’t very active after its first campaign. The plan is to change that and load it with new campaigns and activities to support the independent opticians.
