Last Saturday night a major fire ruined the Top Vision buildings on the Waarderweg at Haarlem. The fire was discovered at 00.30 at night and soon followed by a major alarm of the fire brigade. The surrounding buildings could be saved but not the distribution halls of Top Vision itself. In the morning only the office building stood straight although severely damaged by the fire and the extinguishing water as well. In the afternoon we understood from Thijs Hoozemans that all important company data weren’t stored at own servers but at “iCloud” and are still available. The halls did not contain a lot of stock. The company doesn’t expect major delivery problems although some creativity might be needed. Yesterday the team already met to first find another location which should not be that difficult these days.
