After fairs at Nijkerk, Milan and New York it’s time to review the news and developments. This week at Vision-Today a first overview. In Milan and New York it was very busy at the booth of Italia Independent, the fashion baby of Lapo Erkann, the controversial heir of the Fiat company. The colourful and daring frames and sunglasses are already a musthave in Italy and seem to be ready to conquer the world. The designers are not afraid of new things like the daring collection in velvet, a material never used for eyewear until now but very much transforming it in real fashion accessories. Cool!
