Thirty years after the launch of the first Must and Vendôme styles, Cartier moves its atelier for prescription frames and sunglasses to a new location at Sucy-en-Brie in the Val de Marne. In an ultra-modern building it combines all episodes of the eyewear design and production. Creation, innovation and manufacturing are grouped together and work with respect to Cartier’s high standards and history which goes back to 1887 when the brand ready created lorgnettes, opera-glasses and even a foldable frame of horn. The new atelier measures approximately 9.000 m2 and offers a job to 250 qualified craftsmen.
