As of September 1st of this year, Olga Prenat will take over from Hans Warntjes as dean of the HOYA Faculty. Warntjes worked 24 years for HOYA and used the last five years to develop the HOYA Faculty at Budapest. He will officially retire in June but stay until the end of the year to assure a smooth transition of his work at the HOYA Faculty. Olga Prenat currently holds the position of Director of the Institute and Centre for Optometry in the French village Bures sur Yvette. The HOYA Faculty at Budapest is a trainings- and experience centre for opticians, optometrists and eye doctors. The goal is to create a maximum exchange of knowledge through an open and direct dialog. Many Dutch opticians as well already visited the HOYA Faculty and use that experience in their daily work.
