Even two suppliers of Dutch distributor Holland Optical Company and Holland Optical Instruments went home from Paris with a SILMO d’Or. BBGR won with its Anateo Mio and NIDEK with the ME 1200. Quite a good result for the Dutch importer of these products. All in all the Awards were hardly interesting and caused only few excitement at the fair. The new guys from Rolf won with their wooden frame Giulia and Wood Optic Diffusion with a pair of sunglasses by Boucheron. TAG Heuer confirmed its reputation as the supplier of new and interesting displays and won an Award for its new display “Automatique”. As expected many French companies amongst the winners and few of even no major international trendsetters.
