Yesterday, the fashion world was shocked by the unexpected death of former model, fashion designer and girlfriend of Mick Jagger, L’Wren Scott. Reports said she committed suicide. The designer recently cancelled her show at the London Fashion Week but was widely known as very successful. She became known in the optical industry when she launched an eyewear collection in collaboration with Menrad in 2012. I interviewed her in a private session for that occasion where she showed herself at ease, very gentle and well-informed. It is not yet clear how Menrad will handle this situation but the German company will certainly make an announcement soon.
