Already since October 1994, the Japanese company Charmant is responsible for the design, sales and distribution of the Esprit prescription frames and sunglasses. The cooperation is considered to be very successful which, for both companies, is reason enough to renew the license for another long period although both companies refuse to mention the new expiration date of this agreement.
