After a long career in the Dutch optical branch, one of the most remarkable men, left the scene with a big party last Saturday night. Many opticians and suppliers were present. Alhard Hungerink worked a long time for Friederichs, a few years for Safilo and Ciba Vision and the last fourteen years at Optitrade Retail Group. In that fourteen years the group grew from 120 members to almost 500 members now. He strengthened the organization and worked on the position of his members which are all independent opticians. Of course the new man on top of the Optitrade organization was present as well. Jan Weber used to work for Essilor and knows the Dutch optical branch very well.
