The promotions can’t match the one with the Dutch Bavaria Babes but nevertheless Dutch opticians as well can use the World Championship Soccer to promote their stores. Amongst others HOYA and Puma for example provided their clients with material for use in their shop windows and slowly we see the soccer fever catch the optical branch as well. The tournament however isn’t good for the traffic and sales in the stores. During the game last Saturday two third of all Dutch people watched television. Lucky enough at least the two next games aren’t on Saturdays!
