Last week, on occasion of Milan Fashion Week, Luxottica presented its new Persol Roadster styles to an audience of celebrities, journalists and opinion leaders. The Persol Roadster should be considered a tribute to the legendary sport cars of the early 1900’s with which pioneers like Juan Manuel Fangio and Gabriele D’Annunzio reached speeds of 160 kilometers an hour on provisional circuits in France and Italy. The sunglasses feature details referring to these cars and are real collector’s items for the fans. The collection consists of two models each in five colours, two of them polarized and photochromatic. This year the Persol Roadster is one of the highlights in the Luxottica collections. The styles will be intensively promoted worldwide.
