In the fifties of the last century Oliver Goldsmith used to be a famous brand. The sunglasses were popular amongst celebrities and were not only sold in London but worldwide. The success faded away and Oliver Goldsmith lost its important and leading role in the optical industry. The current ‘vintage’ trend however changed this completely. Now we even have two members of the Goldsmith family who actively sell eyewear. Oliver Goldsmith himself who is facing an increasing demand for his original designs and his niece Claire who founded her own company with a new collection.
