The SILMO might have changed its location, the French optical fair respects its traditions. Just like every year it will present the SILMO d’Or Awards in different categories. Like always a little bit too much French companies amongst the nominees but still interesting what the jury selected. Chances for BBGR, Essilor and Seiko in the lenses category. J.F. Rey is one of the nominees in the category kids eyewear. Most interesting of course is the competition in prescription frames and sunglasses. In the first category ic!berlin, Kirk Originals, Michel Henau, Rolf and Tom Davies are nominated. In the category sunglasses quite some eccentric labels but also chances for Fendi and TAG Heuer. By the end of next week we will know the winners.
