The Dutch Optical Fair has died, the organization of the Centrop Sales does everything to make a visit as pleasant and interesting as possible and for those who see a fair as a way to get extra discounts, Optitrade launches a “digital fair” with a website on which suppliers offer all kind of extra discounts in September. Those extra discounts will probably stimulate purchases but discount should not be an important reason to visit a fair. It’s not about buying much but about buying the right things. Fairs are important for orientation, for the discovery of new things and brands and, most likely with all the employees, to get inspired for the new season. All initiatives together offer enough options for all Dutch opticians. And for those who seek more information and inspiration, the SILMO opens at the end of September. Certainly an inspiring event!
