Yesterday the election of the Best Dressed Dutch Football Player of the Year took place at Amstelveen near Amsterdam. Carrera Eyewear is one of the sponsors of this event organised by well-known magazine Esquire. The Award went to Kurt Elshot. The jury mentioned his own style and his preference for small and less famous labels where other nominees are more interested in major brands like Prada and Dolce & Gabbana. We already knew that Kurt is interested in fashion. He was one of our guests at the Club BRILLANT show last month at the Amsterdam Fashion Week and even assisted us this week at a fotoshoot for BRILLANT magazine. Good choice by the jury. A few weeks ago Kurt visited optician Loonen Brillenmakers to choose his favourite Carrera. More pictures of him later at this website.
