According to an article in the Dutch Consumer Guide opticians are not very good in the fitting of new bought eyewear. More as 50% of the 30 opticians involved in the survey did something wrong but unfortunately the article doesn’t make clear whether these opticians belongs to chains or are independent. The Guide defined some rules and asked a few experienced experts to judge the work of the opticians. The article first of all is an interesting guideline for consumers. Nevertheless it also encourages opticians to pay attention to the art of fitting!
