Former Louis Vuitton designer Marc Jacobs and Miley Cyrus have at least one thing in common; they both love publicity and know how to generate it. Think of the ” wrecking ball” video which has been watched millions of times at Youtube, the overwhelming shows of Louis Vuitton with the enormous decors or of Jacobs himself shopping in his pyamas. The two now found each other in a collaboration for the new Marc Jacobs campaign. Jacobs’ usual photographer Juergen Teller did not like the idea and refused to work with Cyrus. The campaign, finally shot by David Sims, shows Cyrus and two other models in a rather desolate setting with threatening dark clouds in the sky. The models look unhappy. At some pictures Miley wears a pair of sunglasses from Marc Jacobs new collection for this Spring. Anyway, the goal has been reached already as all major (fashion)magazines showed the first pictures of the campaign at their websites.
