Recently Essilor appointed Ron de Bruijn as Senior Vice President Europe Development Projects. In this new job he will work on strategic projects and report directly to the Essilor International board. As from his appointment in 2001 Ron de Bruijn, as General Director Benelux and later as Regional Vice President Benelux, Nordics and Baltics, contributed significantly to the development of Essilor. He founded the Alliance/Uneyeted program and made Essilor a loyal and reliable partner for the opticians. Alex Versteeg used to be Essilor’s Commercial Director Benelux. He has now been appointed Country Vice President Benelux for the Essilor Group. In this new job he will be responsible for all Essilor operations in the Benelux. For the time being he will combine this function with that of general Manager Essilor Netherlands.
