The nominations for the SILMO d’Or Awards have been announced. BBGR competes with Essilor and Novacel in the category “Vision”. CooperVision has a 50% chance with its MyDay contactlenses. JF Rey has been nominated with kid’s frame Joseba. Thom Browne is the winner already with even two nominations for both prescription frames and sunglasses. Special attention as well for newcomer Hapter. In the category “innovative frame technology” we find ic!berlin and, next to thers, of course a wooden frame. This time by W-EYE. As always we are curious to see who will win this time on Thursday next week in Paris.
