In this week where “storytelling” seems to be our favourite theme, we have another great “story” to tell. This time one which will significantly boost the Phillip Lim brand. Lim has been invited by Target to design a collection which will be in store mid of September. Just like H&M, the American Target regularly asks designers to create a cheap collection for its 1778 stores. For the designer it’s a great promotion which will significantly increase the brand awareness. Famous designers like Stella McCartney, Missoni, Jason Wu and Roberto Cavalli already cooperated with Target. Quite good company for the young New York based Lim who does very well worldwide and can also be bought in the Netherlands now. Even department store De Bijenkorf sells some of his designs. His new collection prescription frames and sunglasses is cool as well. Trendsetting, urban, stylish and surprising. Just like his men and women clothes.
