As usual the Dutch Polaroid team starts selling the new 2013 collection in the first week of September. According to Gijs van Leeuwen this is the best collection ever. The influence of the new “mothercompany” Safilo can easily be recognized in some of the designs, there are new suncovers and a great selection of frames suitable for prescription sunglasses. In the North-Eastern part of the country the sales team has been strengthened with Ruud Fritchij who used to work for Polaroid some years ago already. He replaces Erwin Salgo. The complete team exists, next to Gijs van Leeuwen, of Ruud Fritchij, Jeroen de Wit, Carla Vos and Marcel de Haas. All in all more as 50 years of experience in the sunglasses market which assures opticians of the best possible consultancy during purchases.
