Many Dutch opticians are involved in different charity projects worldwide. Quite often they themselves or their employees deliver a physical contribution by working a few weeks a year at any eyecare project somewhere in the world. Bert Koopman is one of these Dutch opticians and involved for years already in his “own” South-African Masechaba project. To support this project, a few years ago he encouraged Dutch and even German opticians to purchase and sell those typical African necklaces which hold your glasses when you don´t wear them. This video shows you were all this money went. You cannot buy the necklaces anymore but you can still donate!
