The major eyewear manufacturers show best practices. After years in which everything seemed possible followed by some less good ones, they all worked on efficiency programs which seem to bear fruit now. Marcolin reports an increase in net profit to 21 million euro and a decrease of the debts with 5 million to only 3,5 million euro at December 31, 2011. Sales increased in 2011 with 9%. The press release with these figures also mentions the renewal of the license agreement with Tom Ford until the end of 2022. Such an agreement assures certainty and stability for the Group, which features are always welcome, especially these days.
