After appointing Antonio Bortuzzo as the new CEO, profoundly French company Alain Mikli International once again contracted an Italian by appointing Giuseppe La Boria as the new sales and marketing director of the company. Bortuzzo and La Boria know each other from former jobs, Remarkable is that both have experiences at the large companies in the branch like Safilo, Luxottica and Allison but not with niche players like Alain Mikli. It probably reveals Mikli’s ambition to become a major player in the market. Interesting to see if this management will be able to keep alive the typical Alain Mikli culture and identity and target at independent opticians only. Time will show. Vision-Today keeps you posted!
